Will Tom Brady have another 2007 performance this year?

Me either... considering NE was playing catch up the whole game by Flacco being aggressive.. he played a good game bad time for an int though.

Oh, no doubt it was a bad time for an INT that's for sure.. But it did appear for a second that he would have caught the ball... defender (don't remember who it was) made a nice break on it and it appeared the WR somewhat gave up on the route.

Indicative of a failure by the coaching staff imo... :) See Butler, Malcolm
interesting POV.

When your corners were abused in the 2013 AFCCG by Flacco was that BB's fault? That what u mean?

totally agree... if that wr was Steve Smith maybe a dif story...Now Torrey "half effort" Smith is a 49ers problem.

I'd rather have another 2001,2002,2004 or 2014 season. Who cares about 50tds if you lose the big game

Exactly. When going to the SB against the Giants (2007 season), I was asked by many who knew me as a Pats fan "you must be feeling pretty good about this SB?" My answer was no. The 2007 Giants were the equivalent of the SB 36 Patriots - playing a team that could not be beat. The Patriots won SB 36 but the tables were turned when the no-chance Giants ruined our perfect season. I could feel it coming. I said of the Giants - they are us!

Didn't they have two interceptions? One when it mattered?

I don't think they had the mind-locks that lost the game for Ravens.. That's coaching.

Yep all Smith's fault. LOL

Most deep balls are simply thrown to allow the WR to make a play. Was it a perfect throw? Of course not. Nobody is saying Torrey Smith should have caught the ball necessarily, but the effort/fight simply wasn't there (which has been a consistent problem with him). Where Torrey Smith failed was allowing that ball to be picked off (even if it mean't drawing a flag). It should have been either 3rd and 5 or 2nd and 15 with the ball in Patriots' territory. It would have been if that was Steve Smith.

Chances are if there was a PI call it would've went against Smith. The ball was thrown to the CB.

Yes...that's why I said 3rd and 5 or 2nd and 15.
