Will there be a Shark All Star?

This could be a good thing if no Shark is elected to the All Star team.

If I had to pick i'd say:

Vlasic, because he has been the Sharks best D-man but he just doesn't have a high point total.

Couture, because the kid just gets better and better

Marleau, Sharks goal scoring leader so far

Those would be my picks.

I think that Burns and Boyle were the highest voted Sharks. I agree that I would rather they take the time off and rest.

Better to take the time off in January than May

And if they had played the same number of games as everyone else in the conference to this point then it's quite possible they'd be sitting at #1. Horrible, just horrible.

They'd be 5th as of yesterdays games with 3-5 games in hand on everyone infront of them and the ones challenging for a PO spot behind them.

To be fair though there isn't a team in the Western Conference that couldn't be described in the exact same fashion.
