Releasing Wilson would result in an 85 million dollar dead salary cap hit for the Broncos.

I think you’re absolutely wrong on that one.
Explain how? Seattle and Denver surrounded Russ with more offensive talent than New England has and Russ has never been an elite quarterback. His play in Denver is what he always has been, a QB who has streaks of being a top 10 QB then the rest he looks like a XFL guy.
