Will Mike Richards show up?

The guy that is never there when the Flyers need him is Jeff Carter, he should be the 1 that is in this thread, not Richy.

Carter pads his stats aginst the Atl, islanders..... where is he when this team really needs him???

If you had to pick between Carter, Richy, Getzlaf, and Perry. carter can't carry any of the others jock strap, and he was drafted the highest out of all of them.

Richards can do it all, except he usually does 1 thing once a month and nothing else. His nuthuggers will defend to the death that he's a great player, when in reality is nothing but a talented grinder who thinks himself a superstar.

Are you kidding? Until this year, Carter had the most goals in a season of anyone in that draft class. You have to be high or retarded to think he's not better than Richards, who hasn't had a better offensive season than Carter in the last 3 years.

I'd take Richards over Carter too. It's not just about the scoring. Richards isn't just a grinder. He's a heart and soul player who can do it all. He's usually always mentioned as a Selke finalist. He was on Team Canada for a reason. The guy isn't having his greatest year but come on. You make Philly fans look petty and uneducated.

In Pittsburgh, where the Penguins control the matchups, Byslma always puts Crosby's line out against Ricahrds' line and Staal out against Carter. In Philadelphia, where Laviolette controls the matchups, Carter is out there against Crosby. Why would Pittsburgh want their best player matched against our Selke nominee and their shutdown center matched against the lesser offensive player, and why would Laviolette want the lesser defensive player against their top player?

Try to watch a game once in a while.
