What that means is a team offered a 1st and maybe a 2nd and was turned down, the writer then assumes they are holding out for 2 1st. Nothing to see here.

2 firsts plus taking on that salary.... Mack is gong nowhere with those demands, Raiders need to pay the man and move forward...

Two first round picks and then spending a ton of money to sign him is too much. I think he will end up staying in Oakland if Oakland wants that in return
exactlyNo one is trading 2 1sts for the privilege of paying him 23 million a year.
They want two first round picks for him. I doubt it...Khalil Mack trade Packers favorite
Its looking more and more like Oakland does not want to give him a long term deal........He has yet to show up for camp and has not talked to Gruden.......Lots of trade rumors out there but I would love to see him in a Green Bay Packer uniform. Packers have plenty of ammo to get him with two 1st RD picks next season....They could trade 1 of those and maybe a 3rd RD pick and throw in Clay Matthews or Nick Perry.
I think Oakland will struggle the first year under Gruden and will be lucky to finish 8-8.
What would be an offer better than a 1st and 2nd but less than two 1sts?
Raiders should just franchise tag him in 2019 and 2020 and then let him walk after that. He'll be 30 at that point.
