Don't hate him, just seems the NFL world goes Gaga over his 5 sack game, and is very quiet for the next 4 weeks

Ehhhh. Even great edge guys have quiet stretches in the sack department. Teams don’t let you stack sacks for free these days like a certain guy named Strahan...Don't hate him, just seems the NFL world goes Gaga over his 5 sack game, and is very quiet for the next 4 weeks
Not really because the QB payscale is capped and is subject to diminishing returns. Rodgers is still one of the best values in the NFL even after he is paid.Pack would be stupid to give up too much D is going to be below average even with Mack and paying him and then Rodgers basically ends your chances of winning anything

No but that team is pretty devoid of talent other than Rodgers. They've got a few other good but not great players. It may make them better this year but still wouldn't be the best team even in the North. Just not sure it's worth it long term. If they go for it it may be a sign of how many great years they think Rodgers has leftAre their chances increased without Mack?

Yep. Personally I think they got 2 of the best 3 in the draft. Huge upgrade. Thats the real wildcard of the season for themBe interesting to see how those corners work out
They took 2 of the top guys correct?
Packers or Jets make the most sense
Packers because its time they make a defensive splash and give Rodgers a chance at another ring, that defense is beyond disgraceful for as long as I can remember
Jets because they desperately need a pass rusher and they have a ton of cap space, and seem to be heading in a good direction organizationally
Um, the Packers will be fine if they grab Mack. They aren't drafting anyone nearly as good as Mack the next two years, I can just about mark it down with a bookie.Did you pay attention to the offseason? They got Wilkerson on a bargain PROVE it contract, spent their first 3 picks on defense (1st and 2nd were CORNERS which was the big need), and signed Tramon Williams. They were top 5 in sacks... the big issue with the Packers is their secondary is ATROCIOUS. What they did in the offseason was 100% focused on that. Mack will of course indirectly help any secondary, but the Packers should still be looking to get at least 5 more years out of Rodgers and bringing in Mack and giving him $20M+ is going to tank that team.
About the only team Mack can go to and not tank... is something like the Jets because their QB is cheap-o for the next 4 years.
I'm actually hoping the Rams give Donald $20M+ a year because that whole thing is going to fall the fuck apart when Goff demands $20M+ if he keeps it up along with Gurley. Good luck winning with that unless you absolutely NAIL the draft nearly every year (by signing 2 of the top 3 positions with most common injuries - RB/DT - Center is #2).
lol Green Bay sign Mack. I swear some of you guys are building fantasy teams on Madden too often.
