Is every call wrong when a guy makes a jumping catch, controls the ball in the air, and is hit to the ground, then loses the ball on contact with the ground?

He didn't lose control of the football when he came in contact with the ground - Did you see the play?

Yeah I did. I saw him fail to maintain control of the ball throughout the process.
