All I keep seeing on Twitter re: Marvin's job security is that if Marv is fired or leaves, things will go back to the way they were in the 90's.
I say go for it, it will be less stressful with lower/no expectations. I won't have to get so emotionally invested

At some point, it's just time for a change.

Like Dusty, he was a great hire at the time, but by 2013, his style no longer fit the team.

Marvin has been good for the Bengals. After the 1990's and the early 2000's, he was exactly what this franchise needed. After he got his extension, he turned this team into a consistent playoff team, but like Dusty, he may just not be the right fit to get over the bump.

Personally, I'd love for him to be the GM of this team, but unless Brown dies tomorrow, that's not happening.
