huh... looking at TSN replays (Sedin hit into the boards from behind by Falk, Lappy retaliates and takes the only penalty). the ref's arm was up BEFORE Lappiere ever made it to the scrum. So the refs changed their mind after the fact. more game management.

Lappy not on screen yet, ref's arm is up.

the canucks made the wild look better than they were in the 3rd. no way we should have been on our heals that bad but we gave them lots of space. Luongo made some really nice stops in the 3rd as well. that lappy penalty should not have gone alone

A communications rep for the Southsiders, the Whitecaps fan club, got turfed for doing something foreign in Rogers Arena, standing and cheering. Well, the supporter group said he was actually asking security when it would be OK to stand up and cheer when he got the boot.

Security came down on the group, and apparently told them only those in the back row of the upper level could stand. Shhhhh.

ive noticed this season the security guys are more aggressive than they have ever been. from the minute you get to the gate. not sure what their mandate is this year I never think the fans are really unruly overall. lots of arseholes but nothing that should make them this bad

I know its only the first period but these guys have not sat down once, they have the worst seats in the house. They have been singing and chanting non stop and they have made our entire section alive. These our the kind of fans we need more of!
