well never liked Allen playing as the starter. & it seems like they made Wilcox earn his way up. Not just give it to him.

lets hope he plays well enough to keep it.

I was hoping to see Allen get the start this week and then kind of split time early on to ease him in and see how he does without the pressure of being "The Starter". I'm a little surprised he is getting the start, but I can't see this as being anything but a positive for us in the long run if he is a player. Now how it turns out this week, who knows...

You really think this signals a youth movement? Sitting Allen has much more to do with performance, than youth.

I agree with Manster on this . Allen has been primarily a back up his whole career for a reason. Nice guy, good for the team- sure. Wicox will make more mistakes but he should also make more plays.

Allen has not played that well IMHO and Wilcox while a rookie should be an upgrade with the typical growing pains

I love seeing kids earn their spot with the starters. Shows heart. Can never have too much of that on your team
