I don't know about you guys, but I have some faith in this GM. He hired Fox, who is a proven winner in the NFL, and so far he seems to making the right moves IMO.
So the Bears don't have B. Marshall? Essentially he wasn't there last season too and the Bears managed 6 wins with a crappy team and an even shittier coach.
Pretty sure the 6 wins were with BMarsh in the lineup. Didnt win any without him.
I dont know who chose Fox. Seemed like there were 4 days between him leaving denver and being hired here. I dont think Pace was happy with Fox since he pretty much gave away all control of personnel. He was hired to have full control, I highly doubt its any different than doing the paperwork for the coach now just like New Orleans.
Marshall was hurt...........how could they be?
a healthy BM this year will be better than anyone we can pick up..........sorry,but wr is now another hole to fill.

Joey, when I said those things about Marshall, I wasn't trying to add ammunition to your argument. I'm still on Noon's side.
A guy like Marshall gives opposing defenses someone to plan for. And there are few corners that can guard a "jump-up-and-get-it" guy like him.
As for the locker-room cancer label, it's hard for me to believe that even the biggest team jerk will not play his heart out on Sunday. Maybe we work with those kind of guys. Or were on sports teams with them. Wouldn't want to socialize with them afterwards, but come game time, they were all business.
See, the point I was trying to make with Jay and Marshall was that perfectly coined phrase "jump-and-go-get-it guy". Brandon was tired of that being his job on every pass thrown to him. Sure, tough third down, no choice throws, but its common practice with Jay. I know it will be deemed Bullshit by Leo again, but we dont see those fading back shoulder throws, we see max effort on just about every pass thrown into double and triple coverage. three receivers in the route they all cant be triple covered.
Marshall got beat up mentally and physically.
If it were true it would be different. You seem to think no quarterback besides Jay ever throws ball that aren't perfect but it's simply a fantasy view from you and your hatred for Jay. I've seen every qb throw high to their recievers multiple time on multiple occasions, because frankly it's what the top reciever is supposed to do. Jay has hit recievers in stride so another false claim from you to try make up. Jay is a top 15 qb and you can't get over that, well get over it
Then he should get paid like a 15th rated qb.
and unless you have a defense in place a 15th rated qb gets you no where.
So we may as move on with him and get another qb that will cost less with the same results.
mark sanchez comes to my mind...........But don`t take this as a gospel answer to our woes from me.cause frankly,I think we have no other choice but to keep him.
And I also hope I`m wrong.

We freed up 7.7 towards the cap this year, I believe. Pretty good.
We don't have to replace anything. You watch the super bowl the past few years? How many elite WR's on either sideline? One in 2013 with Demaryius Thomas? There are MANY worse receiving groups than Alshon, Marquess, Martellus, Forte and potentially a guy like Hartline.
You don't need all-universe receivers to win in this league.
Couple thoughts on BM and being gone. Thought one, Fox may have had his fill with locker room issue Wr, since he had to deal with jaw breaker Smith in Carolina. Second, Brandon had a real hard time staying healthy last season and it will not get easier for him. Third, the Bears may be taking a close look at one of the two Wr's in this years draft at the top of the board. Chances are one of them, Cooper or Wright (? I think that's his name) will be there at #7, both are highly rated and Pace has said BPA in the draft. Forth, which might also explain the Bears pick up in F/A of OLB-DE from the Ravens.
I do believe, since the Bears really needed to find a #3 wr prior to loosing BM, that the move in the draft may end up Wr.
this year's WR class is considered very, very deep. Can always draft a guy in the later rounds. Just take BPA baby.
