And every year, they're proved that the SEC is king. Seriously, the nation gets in an uproar when the 5th best SEC team loses. Do you think the SEC notices when Arizona State or Iowa loses? LOL.

So long as Bama goes home with another crystal football, I care not what others think about the SEC.

A 2 loss SEC champ deserves to be in the NC Game more than an undefeated ACC champ.

Many recent years I would agree with you..but not this year. The most likely undefeated ACC teams would be FSU, Miami (either of who would have beaten Florida) and Clemson (who would have beaten Georgia and USC-e). I am not saying that the SEC is down...just saying the ACC might be a little bit better this year.

It is pretty obvious that either the SEC East sucks balls and is inferior to the ACC's best this year...or that the SEC East and the ACC both suck balls (the latter is your opinion I am sure)...

If you're saying that the ACC is better than the SEC, you are most certainly saying the SEC is down.

SEC strength resides in the West again this year. The East hasn't produced much since the Steve Spurrier Florida days.

And if that champ is GA what about Clemson? They did just beat GA. Trolls are always trolls.

it's a given that UGA will not win the SEC.

UGA sort of the OSU of the SEC

big name, but small results

Oh, lovely, another team SEC thread.

Dear Stephanie, let's make this easy. The best one or two teams in the conference are the best in the country. The rest? Pretty much like teams anywhere else. Some are good, some are pathetic. Alabama will play two good teams all year, A & M and LSU. LSU has a slightly better slate, but all SEC teams mostly play 2 or 3 cupcakes, a few mediocre schools, and then a conference slate that isn't as tough as many think. That's it. Look at the Tide, who everyone agrees to be the best. Besides those 2 games, they mostly beat up on patsies. Kentucky lost to a lower division team, Auburn almost lost, Tennessee, please. The Mississippi's? Vandy? Yeah, right. Then they hire 3 mules to come to Tuscaloosa for their optional games. That's the moral equivalent of picking on children.

And you can't figure it out?

So how does this suggest "the SEC is king?" To answer your question, comments like that are why people feel the need to point out that the SEC isn't that deep. Like every conference, some years the SEC as a whole is tougher than others, but there is only one team that has been consistently dominant the past four years.

That's my take anyway...

I don't mean to ask a question that may make me seem like a complete moron, but what is an inactive member, and how can they be inactive if they made a post less than a half hour ago?
