Also winning should mean something. Fever had a ridiculous schedule to start and led to the 1-8 start. They are now a top 6 seed and closer to 4th than 8th while the sky ars now likely to miss the playoffs

Having the best rebounding season of anyone ever, is a solid argument.

Rebounding isn’t enough to give that award over a team 5-6 games better and a player doing it all, rebounds, one of if not the best passer in the game and can score. Reese can rebound, and score inefficiently within 6-8 feet

You don’t watch or know enough about basketball apparently, Clark is shooting that percentage while taking harder shots than damn near anyone in the game. She’s launching 25-30 foot three pointers. He passing is sick good. This really is t a conversation even worth having. Reese is a far distant 2nd if you wanna be nice

What’s funny though, is the wnba players average a higher percentage at the free throw line. Uncontested shot. Crazy the guys can’t out shoot the women from the line when it’s a gimme.

Never heard this before. I’ll take your word for it, but I’m not backing off the fact women can shoot when there is a defense.

She heavily markets herself to fans... Lebron did the same thing... She also has a good 3 ball and shoots at an NBA level (still a smaller ball) which gets some people thinking "Could she play in the NBA?" That would never happen, but it plants the question and gets the viewers.

From what I can see, both her passing and shooting skills are on another level. She is being hounded end to end with very tough defense but she still shines

Women are nowhere near the men's level in any sport. The two top tennis players in the world dated at one time, and Lleyton Hewitt's girlfriend used to say when they play she'd be lucky to even get a point off him.

part of that is simply less dunks

It's like non-elite boys HS basketball where you have front courts that are guard sized at the next level.

But it's not a great look when you get the same size hoop and a smaller ball (meaning more should go in).

I think it's more about just adjusting to the pro game, but she has a similar shooting percentage when compared to other top scoring guards in the league.
