SGA won the 2024-25 NBA MVP with a Win Shares per 48-minute of .309 Clark in 2024 has a WS/48min of .103 the same exact formula is applied.

^^^ only online article I know about that states the negatives of Clark’s play.

She is undeniably different in terms of financial impact. The Fever had higher home game attendance than the Pacers last season. The Fever franchise value went from 90 mil to 360 mil. Obviously she drives TV ratings and road attendance too

article looks like a lot of statistical garbage really. there's actually been quite a lot of talk about caitlins 2 game 3pt shooting slump.

what the media isn't talking about is how biased the referees are against indiana. -17 free throw attempts against the defending champs, and -32 in the last 3 games.

caitlin is apparently out for 2 weeks with a quad injury.

That article is from last year, same for all the subpar stats I posted. A WS/48min of .103 says it all though. A turnover is the most negative play there is and Clark had 223 of them. In Clark’s last game against the defending champs she was 2 for 11 shooting 3’s and had 10-turnovers with a metric gamescore of of 3.9 and here is what Yahoo Sports wrote…….
“She posted her usual numbers in the loss, scoring 18 points and dishing out 10 assists.”

Nothing said about the ten turnovers or the 2 for 11 shooting on 3’s

That 3.9 gamescore is BAD Clark averaged 14.2 gamescore the last 2024 season which is average like her .103 WS/48 but she still finished 4th in MVP voting. Math is hard to fool, plus math doesn’t care that Clark is the goose laying the golden egg.

I don't watch the WNBA, but the State Farm "from the logo" commercial with her is very clever.
