I'm a little tipsy, so I probably shouldn't chime in. Seems funny to me that someone started a thread claiming that PFM sounds like a retard when he speaks, since he earns so many tons of money exactly for speaking. Of course, I have no idea how much Whitey Bulger and his crew earned.

He is from the south that his style and rhythm of talking is very normal. They speak at a much slower rate than the rest of the country. Doesn't mean he is not intelligent as I would guess he has a mind better than any other player in the league with his ability to recall every single snap he has ever taken. Heck Bill Polian was talking the other day about how he would use the Pro Bowl to scout players that the Colts could possibly sign and in his off time would go and scout players from the SEC and come to Polian reporting on what he saw in the players on film.

PM's Wonderlic score of 28 is the same as an executive ....MeCam's 21 is equal to a receptionist or cashier....
But 21 is the median among pro football players.....So with 21 being average, there you have the league MVPhony.
And PM's 28 sets him as quite a bit above average....
By the way, Papa Johns don't see a problem with it nor any of the other numerous commercials he's been in....
And to conclude, if they want an eloquent speaker, look up Bill Clinton, just don't let him near your woman ...
