not a good screen grab of him...he looks fat.

and he's right. When you hit the ball just right and you want to figure out how to repeat it over and over again. From a novice perspective, that's what the challenge is all about, how to repeat the right things over and over. It's a game where you challenge yourself to do better than you did last time.

No, no it was not.

Just hitting the green in regulation does it for me! Heck, if I get 3 quality shots in a row I feel like I should just quit the round. lol

I think the shot that gets me hard is hitting a great fairway wood off the turf on a longer par 5...that one makes me feel good

also, one of my favorite feelings is taking my glove off walking or driving up to a green because you know you're putting

I can't even explain it. I spend thousands of dollars and hours of time at it every year and whether I knock it around in 78 strokes or 88 strokes, it doesn't make a squat bit of difference in my life whatsoever.

...and I can't stop!

I don't upgrade my bag often...but I am always tempted. I have been eying putters and fairway drivers this winter...might upgrade the 3 wood for next year.

Yep that feeling is what I miss, and it is a reason I bought my old house on a golf course. To get to my house you had to drive across the 2nd tee block. I would drive by the clubhouse on the way home every night and if it wasn’t busy I would start off on the 3rd and finish on the 2nd. But I haven’t played since my car accident 6 years ago because I have about 10% range of motion in my right ankle, which is my back leg on any shot.

That's a hard question. I could probably play every day. Its a strange game where it seems people either love it or hate it. Once it has a hold on you you are hooked though.
Its the only endeavor I can think of where you get so frustrated but can't wait to get out there again.
Any other thing you did that frustrated you as much as golf does, you just would quit doing it, but not golf.

Tried it 4/5 times, it took about that many times to realize I totally sucked at it, so there went the golf.

When those around you are rolling their eyes becuse you once again missed a two foot shot then a one foot shot, ha!!!!!!!!!

I get frustrated with any sport or activity I play and always look forward to going back out and redeeming myself, so it's not just golf. I'd never quit anything because I got frustrated with how good I was at it.

No one, not even Tiger Woods or Big Jack, played well after 4 or 5 rounds.

A crisply struck iron where you don't even feel it hit the face. Nothing like it.

you still don't think I am a "die hard golfer" or just going to ignore your comment you made?
