Pedroia surgery on October 25

Little over two weeks? Not sure I feel as strongly about it as you do.

I'm definitely fine with letting the man have a week or two to decompress and spend some time with his family after a long season before starting the grueling process of surgery/rehab. If he misses an extra week or two next spring as a result, so be it
