Why does the guy even need to work is my question? Can't these idiots save their millions of dollars?

Lol. I've also wondered why he does those low rate commercials. Especially for shit like The General. . Same goes for Brett Favre doing those budget rate shit like Microtouch or Tommy Copper. You'd think their agents could get them better brands and thus bigger money but I guess they just want something quick and easy. It's not like his peers can't get big name corporations either. Barkley was doing McDonalds ads last year

THIS

Charles Barkley is SOOOOO 1996, yet he got Mickie D's, those CDW spots a couple years back, and...probably something else I've forgotten or DGAS about.

The same reason Lebron won't. People don't want to hire tall goofy looking black guys to be in movies lol

Who do you think is going to be the first guy they call to play Roger Murdock when someone gets a brilliant idea to remake "Airplane!"?

Them's some quality funds, no question...but whenever I see Shaq, he's only talking about how much pain he's in, or how ashy his skin has become. It's degrading and humiliating

He should be doing Trojan Magnum ads, at least

I actually heard from multiple reliable sources he was quite average

I would argue that he is getting more work more than any retired NBA players. I don't see Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, ray allen, steve francis, etc

But at the same time a lot of these guys have so much money they don't want to work and could care less about being relevant. Any network would not mind have Kobe as an employee as an analyst but I cant imagine him going to work getting paid garbage compared to what he is used to making and having a boss telling him what to say and what not to say on TV. He also isn't the type to joke around with Shaq some of the things shaq tells to Charles Barkley would not fly with Kobe

Yeah he did win an Oscar for doing that I forgot about it that didn't get as much attention as it should I think it was around that time that racist white lady told LeBron to shut up and dribble which created a huge circus

I agree. He's a popular guy and quite the figure. You'd think he'd get better work.

He's not the figure you are though.
