Why 1 seed today only in NFC?

I'm at a loss as to why the 1 seed plays on a Saturday in the NFC but in the AFC they play tomorrow.

Seems like an advantage for the NFC over the AFC. Seattle would get 1 more day to rest / prepare if they win than Denver would.
