Is there one? Will they trade off the workload? Will Payton just go with the hot hand in any given series?

I own all three; PT, Ingram, and Sproles. I have to play one next week with McCoy on a bye. Just wondering who (if any of the three) will separate themselves down the stretch. Ingram ran really well Sunday night, but Sproles and PT will still be used in the passing game.

Tough call. I'd say they all cancel each other out a bit. A shot in the dark in any given week. I almost just wish I had one of them, so I wouldn't be over thinking it and killing myself over it.

Well, Ingram isn't in the conversation, so there's one headache out the door. Between PT and Sproles, there's really not much of a difference. I'll take PT though, as it seems Sproles is used for specific schemes that don't work for some teams, whereas PT at least gives you the 10-15 carries.

Dude, that's almost like asking what came first, the enzyme or the protien...............honestly, gun to head I'd say Frenchie. Who has the most potential to be an "NFL" prototypical RB? Ingram. Who is the guy that can take it to the house on any occasion? Sproles. This week against the Niners I'd put my money on Sproles to outscore the other 2 but who the hell knows. ROS I rank them Frenchie/Sproles/Ingram. PPR you switch Sproles and Thomas.

If Ingram continues to run as hard as he did vs Dallas, he definitely will get a share of the carries, and he'll also probably get the short yardage/goal line work.

A Dallas defense (after Sean Lee injured his hammy) that you or I...or at least Ingram or McGahee could gash. That had nothing to do with "how hard" Ingram ran. If I had a nickel for everytime I heard "if Ingram" I'd have a lot of nickels. The only thing I guess is he might get some goal line carries... but if Sean Payton needs to win, he'll give it to PT, IMO.

I never claimed he ran on a good defense.

I simply claimed that Ingram clearly had a great day. He has a earned an opportunity to get touches going forward. If he continues to be efficient, he will continue to see touches.

That is all I said. I never insinuated that Ingram was a good back. Just that he had a good game.

And yes, I agree PT is their most trusted back. He's been around the block, a true vet. He always seems to come at the end of the season.
