No matter who they take we should be looking to trade back. If they take Geno someone will be eager to jump up and grab Nassib with Manuel already off the board. If they don't take Geno then someone will want to leap up ahead of other teams to grab him. I see no value in us keeping the pick with Geno Smith, Ryan Nassib, and Matt Barkley all falling into the 2nd round with teams needing QB help.

I think they take Geno, we trade down a bit still land some quality depth and maybe a few picks next year.

Johnathan Cyprien - DB - Player

NFL.com's Albert Breer believes Florida International S Johnathan Cyprien could be "in play" for the Jaguars at No. 33.
The Jags should field no shortage of trade offers for the first pick of day two, but Cyprien is one of the draft's top remaining talents. Cyprien has been connected to the Bengals, who pick at No. 37.

I'm hearing @Jaguars leaning toward taking Johnthan Banks w/ 1st pick in 2nd round, not a QB. #NFLDraft

I think the Jags will go with Cyprien. Niners should trade down if they could find a trading partner. Otherwise, pick Hunter or Carradine. I have a feeling that the Eagles will pick Geno Smith with the 35th pick.

Safety or CB seem to be the most logical choices unless they trade with a team that wants a QB.

Jonathan Banks is the hot name of the person they really like. Him or Ryan Nassib.

theoretically (deep draft), i'd agree, but similar to round 1....if you see a guy you really want, go get him. if they evaluated a guy that fits, IMO draft him and strengthen the team. don't be too cute accumulating draft picks.

from reading articles this morning, Baalke 'absolutely' knows who he'll pick. so have to think we'd need a SOLID offer before trading down?
