Defensive play is still extremely pivotal down the stretch in this league, no doubt. However, nobody wins without great play at QB. Baltimore sure doesn't win without the way Flacco played last postseason.

4 Playoff Games: 11 TD's 0 INT's 1140 Yards 118 QB Rating

The Ravens defense gave up 22 points per game.

QB plays second fiddle to nothing in this league.

Obviously I want the 49ers to win.

When the playoffs started, I wanted the 49ers-Chiefs Super Bowl. 49ers beating Alex Smith would have been nice (even though I have no bitterness to Alex Smith or Chiefs). Also, if the 49ers lost to a team, it would be pretty cool for it to be the worst team last season. Too bad that won't happen.

Now, I want the Broncos to make the Super Bowl vs the 49ers. Peyton Manning used the 49ers to get a better deal with the Broncos.

Jeez... I can't even imagine the 49ers with Peyton Manning right now. My god.

Just made up my mind. Go Pats. If there ever was a year, this is the year to root for them. They're pretty much underdogs.

That's exactly where they like to be, too.

LOL... so, what you're saying is. That the QB position is irrelevant in this league. Okay.

Yes, defense is deciding the NFC. Your point? QB is still the most important position in the game, and if you don't think you have to spend money to secure that position than you're dumber than I thought.

When Jay gets a boo boo on his finger and sits out again since he is guaranteed money with his contract, please make sure you do not change your stance.

How do you get me saying the quarterback is irrelevant? Two nobodies that are not getting paid are better than a shitload of 15-20 million dollar "franchise" quarterbacks. Will Wilson and Ka-prick get paid? of course they will, AFTER they take their team to the NFC championship game for a few seasons, not based on stats. The question lies with what will happen to them after they get paid.

How do you figure that? He was the first overall pick under the new pay scale, signed in 2011 for a 4 year 22 million dollar deal.

22 million is more than umpteen...

14 million signing bonus is more than umpteen

I wouldn't mind seeing Manning win another... He is that good and 1 just doesn't seem like enough.

Agreed. I want whoever comes out of the AFC to win it this year.

I don't mind seeing the 49ers become the modern version of the early 90's Buffalo Bills. And I really dislike Seattle. So, they're the last team I want to see win.

That's my personal rooting order. Although, I'm absolutely scared Seattle will indeed win it.

The only reason I do not want the Seahawks to win is that will only fuel the fire of a few chosen Hawks fans to flap there gums all frickin off season

22 million isn't much more than some guys get in a year. Getting it over 4 doesn't qualify.

Yup. One of the reasons I dislike the team. Intolerably obnoxious fan base.
