you think going from winning the division and getting a home playoff game to...winning the division and getting a home playoff game...isnt seamless?

Oh wait. You only won the division and a playoff game last year?

For some reason I thought you did more than that. My bad.

I know. Crazy me. For some reason I thought you actually won the Super Bowl last year. I don't know what I was thinking.
no no no...if you ask a majority of you starbucks swillers, pete carrol lost the superbowl...brady/the pats didnt win it.

point again being...pats with jimmy most likely win the AFC east and host a home playoff game.

seamless

Wasn't the only time you haven't won the division in the last 12 years the one year that Brady was out?

yup

11-5

damn wildcat and miami, tiebreaker

name me another time an 11 win team didnt win the division or at LEAST make the playoffs.

its rare

so the pats went from "a sure fire HOFer" to mat "wrong team" cassel...and went 11-5. he had avery scaled back playbook, and had a moss still in his prime and welker.

If you compare things in general enough terms, I guess you can make pretty much any seem "seamless"
sure, as long as we have belichick...anythings possible.

god, you guys are ridiculously butt hurt up there...

my point was if brady breaks his back tomorrow, the pats most likely still win the division and get a home playoff game.

thats what i refer to as "seamless"...the team as a whole is still tops in the division, barring other major injuries.
think jimmy, with say a year or 2 under his belt...cant find gronk?
That speaks more to the poor level of competition within the division than it does how "seamless" the transition will be from Brady to the next guy.

Yup. And since 2008, no team in the division has managed to win 10 games or more other than the Patriots. Good argument, brah.

They sure have. They have gone from 6 win teams to 8 and 9 win teams.
the AFC east, next year, will be its most competitive since 2008.

2 teams will win double digit games

only one will be under .500 (jets)

AFC east aint what it used to be

I agree with you actually. I think the Jets and Bills are going to have some pretty darn good defenses. Their QB situations will prevent them from being real contenders but I could see double digit wins from either one of them.

Patriots - even losing revis, browner, vince...no real problem. they adapt, every year. ive seen this movie 3-4 times so far. CB is a weak spot as is line depth and LBer. we can scoop up other teams cuts and theres draft day.

12-4 or 13-3 if they get a few breaks

buffalo's defense scares the ever loving urine out of me. if cassel can stay upright and at LEAST have a 1-1 TD/INT ratio...the offense around him will prop him up.

10-6

miami is miami. suh is a nice get, and add to it wake etc...fuck me. tannehill is tannehill..a WR/TE playing QB. hes far worse than his numbers show.

9-7

Just
End
The
Season

nice coaching/FO/philosophy change...added some pieces on defense...still have geno at QB (for now). no WR help.

5-11 or 6-10

Certainly wouldn't surprise me. As I said, the other teams have pretty weak QBs right now and unless one of them really steps up, it will be very difficult for them to overcome the Patriots.

But using Beldsoe to Brady and Montana to Young as your "proof" is silly. What about the other 100 times HOF QBS retired? Those don't count?

Couldnt agree more, this whole seamless transition talk is ridiculous. What has it happened a handful of times in history?
