Yup, either a retread or some young guy who probably isn’t ready yet but would love to have the position on his resume.Look be real at what you will get on a possible one yr gig

Nah, any candidate who considers being hired in WASH will sign a multi year guaranteed deal so if it only last 1 year due to ownership change, you still get paid.this position has to be viewed as a transitional move for any candidate with all that is up in the air with this franchise, No one worth their salt is going to sign multi year contract as a coach here unless they are very desperate. All of these candidates that have be let go from other organizations are still being paid out on their contracts, so there probably isn't any desperation there. Consequently, my guess is this will be filled internally.
You want an old guy to work with Howell next year. If it's only for 1 year then you should have a guy with decades of experience to share. Get Howell up to NFL speed and teach him about NFL Defenses.
I agree skinz. Lynn was the OC in Detroit in 2021, but Campbell fired him late in the year and the offense dramatically improved after he was replaced. Not exactly a good track record. I know he was the HC for the LAC for a while, but I wouldn't want him as my OC.PASS

Andy Reid and Kyle Shanahan are 2 of the brightest offensive minds in the NFL today. Looking at anyone in their coaching trees is a smart move.
That would be a huge get for Ron. Not sure if it would work, but on the surface that's a homerun hire.
If Reid is tired of him, and yes I heard this last year. I’m not sure I be interestedBeen listening to some podcasts this morning.
One reported that Albright said its Bieniemy's job if he wants it.
Ron coached on a team that Bieniemy played for so there is history.
Supposedly Eric has rubbed a lot of players on the Chiefs the wrong way and Ried likes Eric but "wants him off the staff."
Eric is in the last year of his contract with the Chiefs and its expected that his contract won't be renewed.
Nagy who is currently on the staff was the Chiefs offensive coordinator before Eric and would be an easy replacement for Bieniemy.
Then there is this.

All that aside, hiring Bieniemy would give credence to those who think Ron was taken too literally when he said he wanted to be a 2 to 1 rush offense.

i wasn't aware of this. sure makes you pause. If Reid is tired of him, and yes I heard this last year. I’m not sure I be interested
Something to be said about a guy who hasn't been very consistent whether as OC or HC. Plus, I don't think many would consider Lynn as a top 10 candidate for either right now.I agree skinz. 30+ years ago. Alleged, he was there when this or that happened. Who gives 2 shits, can he coach? Can he put together a game plan to get the most use of a new TE (Kelce Like), RBJr, Gibson, McClaurin, Dotson & Samuel? Is he creative? Can he make in game adjustments? Will we see no huddle or hurry up in our offense? Will we see improvement in red zone scoring? Can he help Howell grow into something special?when does the statue of limitations run out on shit that happened 20 yrs ago
