Now that Manning has retired and Osweiler has signed with Houston, Trevor Siemian is the only qb on the Broncos roster. So who's under center next year when the Broncos open up the season on Thursday night?

John Elway pulls the helmet out of the attic and straps it on for one more run at glory!

I still think Fitzpatrick makes all the sense in the world for the Broncos. But the money is so crazy right now and the Broncos don't have a ton of space to maneuver.

I wonder if they aren't kicking the doors just to see what the 49ers want for Kaep. His athletic ability and strong arm would fit what Kubiak wants to do in his offense.

I like the Dak Prescott idea, late round 2

Travis Sieman has Zero shot

Paxton Lynch has long hair, and long hair QB's have sucked since Stabler

I think they trade for kap and draft Prescott, which should like Dak up for the starting gig by Week 3

John Elway, after winning the Super Bowl as the first GM/player in NFL history, grabs the microphone and yells, "This one's for ME!"

I have no idea how he would manage it but Sam Bradford would find a way to go only 7-9 with the Broncos

I just can't imagine them drafting a QB and starting him out of the gate. That is what rebuilding teams do....not what the defending SB champs do.

It is going to be hard to replicate just how bad the Broncos QB situation was last year:
- No team threw more INT's
- Bottom 10 in the league in comp %
- Bottom 10 in YPA
- Bottom 5 in passing TD's
- 2nd to last in QB rating

But the best way to replicate that is to go with a complete unknown.

Easy. He would get hurt week 1 and leave the job to the rookie or near rookie backups.

If peyton and the Broncos really thought Brock was leaving, do you think he still would have retired?

My pick would be RG3...I think he will flourish after getting adjusted to what Kubiak wants. He should be open to a 3 to 4 yr deal that gives DEN an out after 2 yrs.

Another option I don't like as much, but Mike Glennon (back up in TB) has been mentioned...Idt he ever got a real shot in Tampa.

Yep...I think he knew DEN didn't really want him back...maybe the delay was him checking the rest of the league to see what interest there was.

They might try to trade up.

I kinda think so. Possibly the only way he considered coming back was if they had lost the SB...and even then, he kinda embarrassed himself for much of the year. As "aw shucks" and humble as he might appear, he still has to have a mountain of pride deep inside.

Is Elway just a total bitch to be a QB for?
