We cut Geathers and maybe Harvey, as I think Atkins can move inside or outside. We may keep 9 DL this year, unlike our usual 8.

I would say we have the strongest DT position in the league depth wise. Odd saying that as it took us how many years to find a good DT since Krumrie?

I have a feeling regarding spots, Still and Thompson are pretty safe too. We are not going to discard one of these guys after investing a 2nd and 3 round pick on them.

As far as starting jobs, I think that is accurate, but with our rotation there really is no difference between starter and backup other than who gets to start a game, because they all get about the same snaps it seems like.

If you can't have the most dominate Dline in the league, keep all your pretty good DL running at 100% throughout the whole game through a rotation. That is why our DL is so much better with pressure now, because we have decent players, and they all get to stay at 100% throughout the game due to rotation. That wears the hell out of a oline having to play the entire game. Our older D-backs should be just fine (top 15 in league passing at least) with that much pressure being pushed on the oline, QB and RB. WR are goign to have make most their yardage after the catch after quick slants and crossing patterns.

I disagree considering his ability to also play on the outside. His versatility is an asset to the defense, and I believe Zimmer sees that as well and will push for him to be resigned.

This is laughable. Peko is going nowhere.

I don't believe Simms is in any danger as well.

If anything, it will be the two guys who they signed as F/A's.

I think Pekobis overrated and if the two rookies are good, he'll be gone.

I agree that Peko is over-rated. He's not taken that next step to being a dominant DT that we thought he would be after having such good year(s) early on.

However, to say he'll be unseated by some rookies is laughable (in my opinion).

You've provided no basis or reasoning for your opinion that he'll be gone, especially considering he'll still be under contract. Not often does Brown let go of players under contract, let alone very productive ones.
