I've seen some shit no doubt. The worst thing I've ever seen was a a dude who had drowned and had been in the waterr for at least 4 days. That shit was nightmarish. Fish had eaten his eyes. Worms-like critters crawling out his mouth and nose. All gray colored and blotted beyond recognition. Ugh......that shit still gives me the shivers.

Yeah, my lifguard days were well over 15 years ago. I'm talkin over 30 years ago now in my late teens and early 20s.

Had I stuck with it. I could've put in 35 years by now and you'd shit yourself seeing the pensions some lifeguards down in LA and Orange county have. Outrageous. Though I think a few years ago some of those counties made some deals with long standing guards cuz peeps were flippin out over how much money lifeguards with senority made.
