LOL, holy fuck. Glad he's off the table for Pittsburgh.

I guess the Packers have the same idea, they think he can play into his early 40's...which makes sense but that is a ton of money for a 38 year old. Not sure how you can continue to build around that, add in Adams and they are in a Saints cap situation.

They weren't able to build around him before with his old contract, and they will be less able to do it the next few seasons.

They are hoping for one more title but really the last two seasons were great opportunities

Chasing future money for past production.
Just saw the details, it's basically a year by year contract. Rodgers can decide to retire at any point and getting $50M a year....must be nice.

** =

BigBen played 18 seasons. And only for two games during his entire career were the Steeler eliminated from the playoffs.

You got alotta nerve calling BigBen dogshit considering how many years you've had your nose all up in Carson's ass.

Did I call his career dogshit? No I'm talking about Big Ben of the past several years. He's been cooked and holding that team back. Rodgers would be a massive upgrade.

No, they wouldnt be. Go ahead and explain.

I already have. If you can't follow that's your fault. Doesn't matter because he agreed to a new deal with the Packers so the Steelers are stuck in QB purgatory.

While BigBen's arm strength was getting worse the last couple years of his career to say he was dogshit those last two years is proof you don't know what you're talking about as usual. Here are some of his numbers the last two years.

65.1 completion percentage. You really gonna say that's dogshit?

55 TD's & 20 int's (that's a "dogshit TD to int ratio?)

If you honestly watched Big Ben these past couple years and didn't see that he was holding the Steelers back then you're a lost cause. He was washed.

We are stuck without a QB solution right now.

Also stuck without an OL solution, stuck with a very old DL. Stuck with only one ILB, and he's a question mark. Stuck with a depleted CB squad, and stuck with a depleted WR corps that is in serious need of upgrading.

If they would have gotten Rodgers, they would have solved QB, but would have been incapable of solving the other problems.
