I've been watching mostly college ball the past 2 weeks and its going to be a nice, maybe even spectacular draft.

My top 3 right now are

1A. Parker
1B. Wiggins
2. Randle

To me Parker is the most NBA ready right now followed by Randle. Long term I think Wiggins is going to surpass both of them. Who do you think is the most ready to step on a NBA court today and contribute?

Gotta be these 3, easily. I'm biased so i'll say Wiggins is #1 but Parker is close, also Gordon should be on this list as well.

:agree: When their teams played, I was more impressed with Parker than Wiggins. You may be right that Wiggins ultimately is the best of the 3, but Parker is likely to have the most immediate impact.

I'd say in the next year or 2 Wiggins is going to be a monster.

Gordon is the only one I have missed.

Jabari Parker is the guy you want if you want to build your team around a guy and win right away. NBAdraft.net actually bumped him up to #1 which is the first place Ive seen give him that status. Compared to Melo coming in but he is a better prospect because he can post up and do a lot of damage that way. A can't miss player.

Marcus Smart will probably be the 2nd best NBA rookie. Go on youtube and looks at his jumper if you haven't seen it this year. He's a cross between James Harden and Gilbert Arenas. Take that for what its worth.

Wiggins has a ton of upside. Chad Ford says 'T-Mac' with better defense. It looks like he'll take a year or two to really start taking off...like a Paul George. Will still likely go #1 but I think we are going to be hearing Parker vs Wiggins for years to come.

Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon are built for the NBA but not exactly ready right out of the gate. Randle should be able to come in right away and be good.

Parker for sure.

And I'll just highlight a guy to keep an eye on but I love Joel Embiid's potential. He hasn't been playing long at all but from what I've seen, he appears to be a natural. He has the potential to be a very dominant center. But even if he never reaches that, I still think his floor starting center worthy

I think Embiid is a total wildcard at this point. Someone that raw and his size should stay in another year. And transfer because...yeah...FKU

Randle is the biggest risk of all of the elite guys. He has white dude vertical, no jumper, bad vision and 6'11" wingspan. Randle is really good with the post moves and boards but I could see him slipping in this draft.

So...he's Zach Randolph. I'd take that Top 5 all day

Man tough question. IMO I think theres 2 guys that come to mind. First is Parker. If your team needs a guy with size that can create his own shot and is a match up nightmare, then Parker is your guy. I watched him play against Arizona and I thought he was extremely difficult to guard when he went inside. For some reason, he went away from that in the second half and I think had he kept going in and creating his own shot, the outcome could have been different.

If your team needs a low post brawler, then Randle is your guy. I don't think there's a meaner, tougher, more intimidating player down low than Julius Randle. He attacks the basket with authority and is tough to keep off the rim. His aggressiveness, I think, make him the most NBA ready along side Parker.

From what I've seen so far it's Parker, Smart and Randle. Wiggins seems to take a back seat to Ellis. The season is still early though...

It's going to be the strongest draft in years. Easily. Already being heralded as one of the best drafts ever.

Randle and Smart are the most NBA ready at the moment. Parker and Wiggins have more upside, though.

By the end of the season, Marcus Smart will be the most ready.

Wiggins finally looked great against Florida

I was pissed about that, I had a significant rooting interest in Florida and every time I checked the score (watching IND vs MIA) in the last few minutes Wiggins kept drilling fucking 3s. He better watch out or I won't root for him in the NBA hahaa
