Blowhard know-it-alls tend to gravitate toward football. Baseball fans are far more intellectual and reasonable.
Not when baseball fans think baseball is more a thinking man's game than football, though (not saying you did).

Baseball is more of a thinking man's game. But you have to have a reasonable level of intelligence to realize it.

come on. The manager and coaches could forget to show up and the team would still have a reasonable chance to win a baseball game.

Yep. Laughable. I could show up alone to manage a MLB team and they could win. No chance an NFL team wins under the same circumstances.
That proves very little. It is easier to manage a baseball game because the players already know all the different strategies at play on any given pitch. That's why baseball players on average are smarter than football players. They don't need to be managed. If baseball players took the wonderlic (or in Brady's case, Wonder Lick) or whatever you call that dumbass test, the baseball players would score off the chart.

They are smarter because they learn in T Ball what to do and it never changes, while football players need to learn a new system everywhere they go? did you really say that?

Because a guy off the street could lead a baseball team to a win means it is more complex?

If there is a post of the year on this forum yours has to be nominated.

Nice deflection, but you did come up with this pearl of wisdom (direct quote)....."It is easier to manage a baseball game because the players already know all the different strategies at play on any given pitch."

so, yes, it's your contention that because the players already know the strategies (because they are learned from T-ball on and they don't change) that makes it more of a thinking man's sport? Not the sport where every team has a different system, and the scheme changes every game?

Deflect away.
