Arizona and SanFran I'll give you. But the other two, the offense scored 20 and 21 points. Just because the defense played poorly, doesn't mean they lost BECAUSE the defense played poorly.

Sorry, when the Pats lost 33-14 against the Ravens in the Wild Card round, I don't think they lost because the defense played poorly. They lost because overall they sucked, including Brady. If you say a team lost and you want to pin it on the defense, you have to look at how well the offense actually performed. If a team lost 35-0 you wouldn't say they lost because the offense was dreadful, would you?

The offense didn't play well either though. So to say they lost "because" of the defense doesn't make sense to me. They lost because the whole team sucked.

It brings me back to the point that Rodgers has to be near perfect to win in the postseason......He came out fine in that game, and his RB fumbled on the 2 yard line, and it was 17-0 before you could blink...And unlike the Pats game, where the defense eventually stopped that offense, it was just a non stop onslaught making the QB's job impossible...Just imagine if the Falcons kept scoring in the SB, nothing Brady could have done to pull that game out

But there are plenty examples of that not being true at all. And even if the defense did stop them, would Rodgers have been able to come back even when it was 17-0? Because when he got the ball 17-0 he went 3 and out, INT, 3 and out. It was 31-0 in that game. Of course the defense was playing like dog shit, but the offense was too.

He didn't have to be perfect to beat Seattle in 2014, he just didn't have to play like crap. He didn't have to be perfect to beat Arizona in 2015, he just didn't have to play like crap.
