UCLA - Mora outcoached 5th year Pelini in his first year. I see no reason he can't do it his second year.

Michigan - Nebraska plays like shit in big road venues.

Penn St - Nebraska plays like shit in big venues and this is O'Brien's second year.

Ok so this is my version of how things would happen in the WORST CASE SCENARIO.

UCLA beats us. Why: Young defense is just not ready for their style of play and caliber of player in their 3rd ever game starting.

Northwestern beats us. Why: They've done it before. They run an offense which has had no trouble moving the ball and scoring points against us the last 2 years.

Michigan beats us. Why: They shit on Nebraska in Ann Arbor 2 years ago. Prove to me that we can win there and I won't be so skeptical. Devin Gardner will have some good experience by the time they play Nebraska, and the kid is one of the better running QB's we'll see besides Colter and maybe Miller. We all know how running QB's fair vs Bo.

Michigan St beats us. Why: this is only if we come off an epic, emotionally draining win vs a top 5 Michigan and we have a let down game. If we lose to Michigan, we will come back and r*pe MSU at home. That's just the way it works.
Penn St. Beats us. Why: LOL JUST KIDDING PSU AINT BEATING US.

Iowa beats us. Why: The whole Nebraska team dies in a horrible bus crash on the way to the stadium.

Nebraska will go 10-2

Only for sure loss I see is Michigan. No doubt about it. The other just about a for sure loss is Penn State. Since both those are road games. UCLA and Northwestern are the possible home upsets. Since Nebraska lost a close one in Los Angeles I think Nebraska takes this one. I can't see the road team always winning the NU/NU series, currently Nebraska is NU. BTW, I was at that game last year in Evanston.

Michigan - Probably be a night road game. Devin Gardner will beat us with passing and running. I am guessing the game is at night. Nebraska will either be 7-1 or 8-0 going into the game. The score will be like 2011 game though. UGLY.

Penn State - road game. Penn State fans and the Penn State team are not down, they will have LOTS of emotion, unlike the 2011 game which was a snoozefest.

I posted this on the Disney boards that Nebraska will go 10-2, I will stick with it. That was before the Suttles and Brown departures. I expect UCLA and Northwestern to be possible losses. Michigan State will have a defense, but where is the offense? As brasky says, if Nebraska somehow pulls out a win in Ann Arbor, then Michigan State picks off Nebraska in Lincoln because Nebraska will have gotten a monkey off their back, but the coming down from that high will be a killer.

Nebraska will average 40 points per game but average giving up 38 per game. Hoping for a miracle there.

i'm not throwing anything new into this fire, but like to be heard. also I think i posted this exact thing in another thread.

Michigan is a loss.
Mich State and Penn State - are possible losses, but actually don't see us losing these. Bo knows how to stop these styles of offenses. Also, later in the year, if our defense isn't settled in by then we have much bigger problems.
UCLA and Northwestern are the 2 teams most likely to beat us.

Does beating themselves with turnovers and penalties count?

If so, than NU is generally good for a couple of close games because of those.

We all know how running QB's fair vs Bo.

I've heard this statement for past few years and I can't understand. Don't they practice against a running QB all the time?

I think ucla game tells us everything about the defense and if we're gonna be exposed I rather ucla do it and we have the whole season to work on it . Then go to AA Michigan and get slapped on a prime time national game

I think we win but how is gonna determine the season were gonna have. Second will be how we react after the Michigan game win or lose. If we win MSU will beat is if we lose the only other game will be psu but Michigan game will prepare us.

Ucla - thriller
Nwestern - thriller
Michigan - L
PSU- thriller
MSU only if we beat mich

I could see a 10-2 season those are the possible teams I know Michigan is a loss. I could see psu as road games haven't been our friend. Ucla and nwestern will be epic home games and could be losses

But we will all see after the ucla game, if defense is exposed badly then we will know how the nov stretch will go.

Also, how the UCLA game ends. Obviously, I want a win (but won't bet on the game). If we lose a close one, I could see us losing only one more game (pre-bowl season) and that would be the CCG. IF we truly get skunked, I'm afraid it's going to suck the wind out of our young defense. I'd predict up to six losses and won't predict who.
