No. I never said that.

I listed the 9 I voted for.

I said there is no given number. But there have been times where there were only 3 or 4 and there are more today than ever.

LeBron gets the nod because of status. I think there are other guys not on my list playing at a similar level or higher.

But LeBron is the biggest name in the NBA and that matters.

Don’t believe anyone that doesn’t follow basketball to some degree would know who any of the other guys are.

I think what is clear is that this is very subjective and everyone has a different definition.

Some place box office draw above all else.

And that isn’t necessarily wrong, because that is a big part of what a superstar is.

Yeah and it can change on players too.

For example...pre-Achilles Kobe was a superstar...but after that injury...I think most still considered him a superstar, but by then it was name only with a few flashes here and there of who he used to be.

It was intentional. He is no longer a superstar for me when it comes to play on the court. If he was then the lakers wouldn’t struggle the last few seasons. Superstar LeBron can always lead his teams to 50 plus wins and hca for a series or 2. Now he pick and choose his spots due to his age
