The absolute criminal steal we got when the Cubs gave us Jimenez and Cease for Jose Quintana is starting to look like the exact same thing but against us when we gave up Nicky Two Strikes and Cody Heuer for this bum.

I do agree the predator bird pitching start is goofy as hell.

I don't agree that he is garbage (French pronunciation) as a player - even though he hasn't been successful yet for the Sox.

for us he's been nothing but garbage. to me that makes him (currently) garbage. 'yet' doesn't exist. if/when it does i may alter my opinion.

wish i could ... but i can't. i don't believe you can not play the game hard and well and then suddenly turn it on in the playoffs. who EVER played any sport that way? you start the season thinking you're really good, then, you play half the season losing every other game you begin to think maybe you're not so good as you thought. don't think some of these guys aren't questioning this. it's called psychology.
throw in the fact that i don't EVER like to see the sox lose! EVER! regular season, playoffs ... they all matter!

bummer did his usual crap job and even tho keuchel only gave up 2 runs in 5 innings, he did give up 11 hits in 5 innings. it's a shame we're stuck with him next year as well.

Game postponed so no Division championship today. We play the Indians twice tomorrow, though...so my body will be ready.

That was too close for comfort. I know the remaining games at this point are rather meaningless, but no team, especially a playoff-bound team should blow an 8-2 lead against a club long out of the race.
