We're a team that has underperformed all season. We're a team that should be much better than it is. We're a team that at the very least should have met expectations. But when you're 3 games over .500, you're not a shitty team.

so, if that's the criteria, then MOST of this season the sox have been a SHITTY TEAM!

Smacked the As down today and the Sox go for the 4 game sweep with Cueto on the mound tomorrow. I fear the return of TLR.

Believe it or not, this is the first time in Sox history they've had two 20 hit games in a single series.

Can we break out the brooms for today? Hope so and if anything the odds at the moment are in our favor. We have Johnny "Mr. Consistent" Cueto taking the mound for us today, altho the A's are countering with Cole Irvin, who's had a pretty good season considering he's pitching for the worst team in the AL. We haven't faced him this year yet so, who knows what to expect. All I know is it's very tough to sweep any team, regardless of how bad they are. It's especially tough when we're talking a 4 game series and even tougher when it's against the home team.

With the Twins seemingly in free fall, every game for the Sox is now a playoff game. The Guardians schedule looks MUCH easier now.

The Guardians are 9-6 against the Sox this season with 4 games left - the Sox have to win all 4 to claim the division tie breaker.
