After the latest shitshow blunder of a game by this team last night. I gotta say...

I think if we don't take these next two games, with our best two pitchers going? I might totally turn the leaf over to football. The two wins vs Houston after sweeping Detroit appear to have been nothing more than a dick tease. These last three games have been the most 2022 White Sox thing to date. Two games handed away on a silver platter that we should have won due to mismanagement and wasted opportunities. Then, a total embarrassment in the final game vs Houston.

We are entering must win territory tonight, IMO. I don't even really want to watch. I don't have much faith. The only saving grace is that Johnny Cueto has won a ton of respect and admiration from me. Maybe he can put a halt to yet another troubling trend of games and lead the way.

Really entertaining win y the Sox tonight. Cueto had a great night pitching and even TLR went against his grain and allowed Cueto to pitch for two outs in the 9th. Also, Elvis Andrus - not contaminated by White Sox development - had some great baserunning that gave the Sox an insurance run. So, 2-0 win - Twins also lost. Cease on the bump tomorrow,

crap for manager is defending mcewing's decision to send yasmani on a shallow single with no outs. more bs from a guy who should know better. so damned hard to defend anything this team does. tlr is an idiot to defend that play.

I mean, probably not. I have no proof of that. Would be rather extreme. I definitely don't think that Cleveland minded the rain out, though. It's also just not typically heard of that there's no rain for two hours or so BEFORE scheduled first pitch. Yet... a major league grounds crew can't figure it out? I'm not going to sit here and say they made it happen. However, they certainly didn't mind and perhaps didn't try very hard to get the game in.

They know damn well that in a makeup game - the odds of our ace facing their worst pitcher are slim. The rain out definitely benefited Cleveland and hurt us a bit. Great opportunity to take the series was lost today because of a "river of mud" that formed on the CF warning track.
