Burnaby Minor U15A1 won their Tier 1 Provincials semi final game this morning and will play for the BC Provincial U15 Tier 1 championship this evening.
Why notable? The last time a team from Burnaby Minor won a BC Provincial Championship at any tier/age was 1984 ... 40 years ago ... a kid named Joey Sakic was on that team lol
