It's awful. I did not hear about this last night and saw the video on Twitter without realizing what it was / what was going to happen.

I remember as a kid we wore them for a while. Kind of fell off after that.
It was before the Malarchuk thing, so not sure what the impetus was.

Non invasive is key. Bauer makes an undershirt with integrated neck guard. Pros maybe dont want to look like plekanec maybe??? Make it mandatory i guess. Its mandatory for kids and i would say a large majority of u18’s and below around here wear the undershirt so its not like guys arent used to wearing neck protection in this form.
