Nigel Dawes has played his last two seasons in the DEL with Mannheim, but he had a pretty good career in the KHL registering 267 goals over 10 seasons. That shocked me a little.

Former NHLers took the ice in Slovakia to play in a farewell game for Marian Hossa. Among the names playing were Nicklas Lidstrom, Daniel Alfredsson, Zdeno Chara and his Blackhawks teammates that he won three Stanley Cups with; Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith and Dustin Byfuglien.

On Friday, the Yotes had a team in Australia, a team in STL & a team in Wichita. Last night, they combined players from STL & Wichita and brought them to Cedar Park (Austin) to face the Stars. Yours truly was in attendance.



it did not go well for the visitors.


They amassed 6 more shots by the end. Stars ended up with 50 & won 7-0. Logan Stankoven had two. I enjoyed focusing on him and Mavrik Bourque while they were on the ice together. Gonna be fun watching them grow.
