Disgraced former NHL player Reid Boucher has found himself another contract in the Kontinental Hockey League, this time with one of his former clubs, Avangard Omsk.

On Monday, Avangard announced it’s signed Boucher to a one-year contract that’ll begin in the 2022-23 season.

He is 40 years old and played over 1000 professional games in the ECHL, AHL and Europe but never made it to the NHL. Talk about dedication to the game.

Yeah there was no chance of him ever coming back to the NHL. He played 40+ games in the NHL and never scored a goal.
I remember when the Penguins signed him and there was hope he could play with Malkin and Crosby. Give a ton of chances and flat out sucked.
He was so bad to be traded to the Coyote's for a career minor league'r and a conditional 7th round pick that never happened.
