I actually picked Temple, and may be the sole person to do so. They are coming off a 9-4 season and return the starting QB and RB (technically the RB split time; had 914 yards and 6 TDs. The other RB had 1518 yards and 27 TDs last season) in addition to having Montel Harris as a RB. Offensively, they did a great job protecting the ball as they only had 12 turnovers all last season (good for 1st in the MAC and 3rd in the nation). On defensive, they were able to hold opponents to 13.9 points a game and 123.9/187.8 yards on the ground/air respectively.

Given the turmoil of the BE, I think they have a shot to finish in the top 3 of the conference. I don't see any of the other teams on this list that have as big of an opportunity to make an impact.

I was tempted to go with Temple mainly because I wouldn't be surprised if the Big East is wide open again like it has been like it has been the last two years. The conference champs have had two losses both years so I wouldn't be shocked if Temple is still in contention in late November.

I didn't read all of the comments, but this easily goes to TCU or WVU. The B12 is watered down and will see only a hand full of teams with winning records. I went with West Virginia for the simple fact they will be the best team in the conference besides Oklahoma (non Homer) WVU only has 4 road games this year and will be playing their toughest games in Morgantown. TCU, K State, OU. If they can survive their road games in Texas, @ Ok St, and Iowa, I can see them doing very well.
