I was going to go with Pickett, but I can see Mitch getting hot at the beginning of the year and Tomlin sticking with him. I think the Falcons will lose a lot of games, making it hard to justify Mariota starting..... They need to figure out what they have in Ridder before evaluating whether to use a top 5 pick on a QB in next year's draft.

From what i've heard Bridgewater started badly and i've seen Thompson play better than expected. Thompson may already be #2. Bridgewater's contract is fully guaranteed and that might be the only reason he makes the roster. He's cheap trade bait if another team wants him. If they started 3-5 and were out of the playoff hunt I could see them developing Thompson rather than going through the motions with Bridgewater. I don't believe the Dolphins are in win now mode. Even with the tampering sanctions the Dolphins can, (and probably will), reset at QB in 2023 if/when Tagovailoa falters.
