Why Does Everyone rank james harden so high?

the rankings are based around age/prime and player to build upon. These guys mentioned are in their prime.

As far as harden goes, this year he displayed the ability to carry a team to the playoffs. He can create his own shot, take you to the rim or hit a step back three in your face. He plays on both ends of the floor and IMO he displayed leadership on a young rockets team

If you are talking about the Hawks I would give up anybody but Horford. Horford stays!

Assuming Health.....

Andrew Bynum is better than Howard.

Taller; Better offensive moves; Better FT shooter; "Can" be (ability wise) just as good defensively (remember the 10 blocked shots in last years playoff game).

The only other player i would add is Rondo

Rondo's fantasy value is format dependent. He is great in points leagues, but in category based leagues his value drops because of bad FT%, high TOs and a lack of 3's. He is a third round pick in those leagues.

and 2 years younger

but he doesn't even have the drive to put up numbers, at least howard has that.

Statistically they are damn near the same player. Not sure you can really say Howard has more drive.

my feelings on the subject as well. When Bynum is not getting touches on the offensive end he zones out. When Howard isnt having "fun" he tries to foul out. Mentally they are damn near close as well

Bynum had more hair cuts than games played because he rehurt his knee bowling.

When working out with some all time great on his post game cut the work out short with the phrase "I know enough"

Maybe drive isn't the word or description I mean.

Let's just say I'm not a fan of either of them.

Talent wise, both are very good.....but neither of them has an ounce of maturity or work ethic. This is why I hope my Mavs never attempt to sign either one of them.

Its also why I don't see a good fit for Howard in LA.
