I think Fultz is the best prospect in the draft, as far as fit is concerned, I think Ball would be the best fit for the 76ers. I also think Monk would be a good fit for the 76ers. If Simmons is going to be handling the ball as much as everyone says(I'm still skeptical) then combo guards are the way to go, so Monk makes the most sense in that regard.

If the Lakers keep their pick...I want the best defender of the PG's because the Lakers perimeter defense sucks out loud.

Josh Jackson might be the best fit for The Sixers.

So, you want to use that pick as trade bait for Patrick Beverly?

Seriously, this article breaks down all the top pg's offensively and defensively.

Frank Ntilikina is the top rated prospect on defense with Fox being 2nd.

But, Fox whores him offensively. So, I'd probably go Fox.

If we play Embiid along side Saric and Simmons, I don't think he'll be a good fit. But I'm not sure how in the hell Brown and FO is going to manage the roster.

You might be right. Has a bad team ever had so much talent on roster before ?

There is certainly some individual talent, but the biggest problem is the lack of chemistry and cohesiveness. I'm hopeful everyone can stay healthy next year, and we add a piece or 2 this offseason. If so, I certainly think being the 8 seed is attainable.

There is something about Monk that makes me think he will fall out of top 10 and yet he will come back to haunt everyone for that

Lonzo Ball, it's not even close.
Fox ripped him a new one when it mattered most. I'd rather have fox. I see a guy that can get to the rim at will in fox. I see a skinny tall injury prone kid in ball. He needs to beef up if he's going to last. I think he'll be good, but not great.

As much as I like Fultz and some other PGs in this draft, I think Dennis Smith is the closest thing to a can't miss.
His athleticism and skill set are prototypical, Fultz is a wonder kind, but harder to judge because his skill set is so atypical. Fox and Ball are long and high on wow factor, but not nearly as polished as Smith.

The problem is that they have terrible guard play in a league completely dominated by guards.

If the 6ers stick in the lottery and also land the Lakers pick, they could end up with 2 of:

Fultz, Ball, Smith, Fox and Monk

Problem solved, and lookout league if they can stay healthy and grow together.

Gonna make a prediction here: Ball isn't drafted in the top 3.

I like Fultz and Smith.

The kid almost gives me a boner, but I see him as a Scotty Pippen type SG. I hope The Hawks move up and take him. They have the 19th, 31st and 60th picks, I'd give all 3 for a shot at a potential star.

I don't see 19/31/60 as enough to trade up to get him (assuming he goes top 10). I'm thinking they'd have to throw in a lightly protected future 1st for the deal to work.

Not sure -- but they also got 0 games out of Simmons and only 31 out of Embiid, so it's hard to gauge things. Before Embiid got shut down in January, they were making a run and had an outside shot of landing in the playoffs.

If Simmons, Embiid, Saric, and whoever their 2017 picks are end up healthy for the season, it would be an enormous disappointment if they don't make the playoffs.

Brett Brown set 3 criteria to fit in with the 76ers: defense, running, 3-pointers. Notably, he's said you don't have to check all three boxes but you should be able to check two and show a path to improve in the third. Monk checks 2. The question is whether his defense is there or can get there. I think it can...but do other players meet those criteria a little more?

They obviously need a guard, so if they end up at 3/4/5, I think they'd go guard. But if they end up with two picks, I think they'll target Jonathan Isaac with their second pick.
