Which NFL do you prefer?

It wouldnt have been roughing the passer. He is out of the pocket and not throwing the football so he has given up all his protections.

Might get called for helmet to helmet though.

The guy launched his body. It would have been called unnecessary roughness.

I doubt a single fan prefers the modern NFL over the old NFL in terms of violence. The league has gone overboard protecting QBs and needs to dial it back.
