AD and sanders are a push.
No they're not. Barry Sanders easily.

I have to strongly disagree with this one. Brown and Sanders are complete opposites. LDT and Peterson are jack of all trades backs.
Barry Sanders was the Michael Jordan of football. The difference is that football is not a 5 on 5 sport. You could take Barry Sanders out of a game completely if you wanted to. But Jim Brown? Just the best. If your team was down in the game, put in Sanders. If you had a lead, put in Brown.

Playoffs. Tomlinson had similar problems. It wasn't Barry's fault, though, but we all remember the Emmitt vs Barry debates. One dimensional teams almost always got taken out of the playoffs before the 'parity' days. See: MarinoSo Barry retired second all time in rushing because teams just didn't feel up to taking him completely out of the game? Pfffft .... Please....

1. Peterson has more fumbles than Barry Sanders had in his whole career and thats like a 3 year advantage. Peterson's fumbling cost his team a chance at the Super Bowl.Peterson is nearly as explosive as Barry and every bit as punishing as Brown. He's miles above brown.

2. Peterson can't do the things Sanders did. Agility wise, you're comparing Johnny Manziel to Cam Newton. Sanders could literally change directions at will. Peterson in general is more like Jim Brown.
Its hard to compare Jim Brown to Peterson because one was playing white people and the other is on the best supplements/deer antler spray in the world.
Charles is the best of the three (agility-wise) IMO but AD is at the very least every bit as agile.
Group A, without a doubt
A few of those guys in group B have been unreliable or injury prone late in their careers - LT was not the same the last few seasons when he went to the Jets - Randy Moss had some BAD seasons before he went to New England too
Group A has players who were more consistent throughout their careers
Those bad years were with a joke of an organization and a worse QB. Not everyone can play the bulk of their careers with joe Montana then Steve young.
Moss had 2700 yards and 36 TD in his only two years with a real QB throwing him the ball.
