Larry Fitzgerald has solidified himself as a first ballot HOF after this season without a doubt.
Gronk will go down as the GOAT among tight ends.
First Ballot for sure
lol I didn't even see him listed when I copy/pasted it and was too stuck on how things have changed for Willis since August 2014.What the fuck is Charlie Whitehurst doing on this list???
Charles Woodson is absolutely a 1st ballot Hall of Famer
Be interesting to see when it happens. Gronk is on pace to be the GOAT....but he is a big boy that is prone to injuries and he still has a lot of years to go to get there.
There never has been a 1st year HOF Tight End in the history of the league before. And there have only been 4 WR's (Berry, Warfield, Largent and Rice).

Patrick Willis
Yeah I was more referring to what has happened to Willis since the article was written in 2014 and how unfortunate his career ended like it did. He was well on his way to a sure HOF career.I have to assume that's only because he just retired....because he was clearly on his way to the HOF...perhaps even a first ballot guy. Even with his retirement, I think you can make a good case for him in the Hall, despite the lack of defensive players there.
As far as first ballot guys, I think Rodgers should be a first ballot guy, even right now. They guy has done everything you can do at the position, and has been generally regarded as the best QB in the NFL for a good 5 years now. I'd put him in before Brees, even though he's got more numbers.
In the same manner, I'd put Revis as a first ballot player. He may not have the longevity of Bailey or Woodson, but he was the better corner - best pure cornerback since the days of Deion/Rod Woodson - and certainly the best in the last half decade or so.
