Florida State, North Carolina and Miami FL are the names that come to mind for me. What do you all think?
Virginia and Pitt lead my list for the same reason. Tough, solid coaching.North Carolina seems like they could after how Mack’s first year went and his recruiting.
I wouldn’t Be shocked with Menendhall at Virginia and yes even sPitt has a good coach and usually a solid defense.
But let’s be real here, there isn’t anyone close to consistently beating Clemson for 5 years minimum in that league.

Miami....I'll believe it when I see it. We're pushing 20 years since they've been nationally relevant.
Ditto with Florida State. Regardless with what shit is happening there and how they looked, they're the only other ACC squad I can take seriously.
I've actually thought this in the past...either they're all coked up or getting some ridiculous benefits (or both). When you really think about it, the only time(s) Miami U have been relevant are a direct result of cheating.
You know when you're a kid and didn't know any better fans looked up to The U, but when you get older, what a dump.
I gotta say I don't really know if Narduzzi will ever get them there. He's a solid coach and that 5-7 record a few years ago is probably his floor but there's just been so many classic Pitt flubs with him there that I wonder if they'll ever able to be a consistent contender. Huge year with Pickett and some seniors who could've declared coming back.I think it’s North Carolina first that could eventually give them trouble. But I agree the coaching at the other two is damn good too. Still it’s tough to see anyone overtaking Clemson right now.

That's a good point for sure. With what they having coming back it's basically put up or shut up time for Narduzzi. I saw an win +/- total go as high as 8.5, which should put them right in the mix for the coastal if they can get over that.Narduzzi's problem is he can't keep coordinators. This will be the first year since 2014 that Pitt has both coordinators from the year before on staff.
