MAC, WVU is NOT an elite program, so we should not expect to win them all, BUT WVU is a traditional top 20 team, and should NOT get blown out one time in three that they take the field against BSC level competition. If we have come to EXPECT ass whippings, then we are fucked up.
BB, you are so right, WVU football sucks, has always sucked, and will forever suck, so we should love and enjoy each 30 point loss. Great coaches ALWAYS get blown out one in three times, remember, we fired a coach for going 9-4 who lost those four games by less points than the great coach we have now has lost individual games. I know now the real reason he was fired, he did too good for the likes of WVU. This offensive guru who can not coach his offense to score 14 points is what we should want, we should strive to have the worst defense in school history each year. That offense is so great that ANYONE can be plugged into it and score 50 points. WOW, how the hell you guys are still making excuses for a man who is in so deep over his head amazes me..........
Game 3 and game 4 in a coaches career is a damn sight different than game 32 PLUS, ECU was flying high after just beating VPI .......... The UConn loss was caused by kids making physical errors fumbles and picks. Stewart cost us the Colorado game with poor clock management, the SAME clock management we see every week now!!!!!! Holgorsen, the offensive genius, can not even signal the fucking plays in to the QB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mullen could at least do that!!!!!!!!Dad,
Do you honestly think Bill Stewart... if he were still alive... and still coaching the old gold and blue... would avoid the same blowout losses in the Big 12 that WVU has suffered under Dana?
I ask you this after having watched his well coached team lose on the road to a bad Colorado team that finished 5-7 for the year... 2-6 in the Big 12. That loss to Colorado... a poor Big 12 team... happened after a 21 blowout loss to ECU... a non-AQ team. That team had Pat White, Jock Sanders and Noel Devine.
IMO, the embarrassing loss to UConn... a team that had just lost the previous week to UofL.... getting shut out in the process 26-0... sealed Billy's fate. WVU could do nothing against a team that everyone was beating... even Temple... And, this was too much for any AD to take. Especially with all of the talent on the field.
UConn... the BE rep in the Fiesta Bowl that same year... was later blown out by OU.
That being said... I don't think anyone likes watching blowout losses. I am tired of them.
But, in a conference like the Big 12... they happen... pretty frequently... to just about every team in the league at some point in time.
It ain't the inept BE... that is for sure...
Dumbass, WVU is #17 all time in wins, and # 16 all time winning %

Lets do a little research..... Holgorsen has coached 32 games, 8 have been 20+ losses 1/4
Stewart coached 40 games and had 2 20+ point losses 1/20
Fraud coached 86 games and had 7 20+ point losses 1/12
Nehlen coached 246 games and had 30 20+ point losses 1/8
Cignetti coached 44 games and had 13 20+ point losses 1/4
We are getting blown out more than since when Cignetti was our coach, a hard fought loss is one thing, a team getting blown out a quarter of the time is not acceptable, PERIOD!!!!!!!
