This.

Team A could maybe be a 6 because of no top 25 wins. But a 5 seed and 4 seed is probably what I would say as well.

I really think you have to give more information. What are their overall records? What about losses to 100+ RPI teams? Quality wins and bad losses (in terms of RPI rankings and where they were played)? These are all factors that are taken into consideration for seeding, in addition to the ones you outlined. I just think that there needs to be more information for a more accurate analysis, without naming the teams or cheating.

he told us there are zero losses outside of the top 17 or 18 in the rpi

also the whole point is to try to do it blind and then see if you were kind of accurate.

Focusing more on the no big wins and the SOS I'm pretty sure I got it. Thought it was UCONN at first but then I remember there florida win.

If its the team I think it is then I would probably have to lean more towards the 6 seed or maybe 7. But I guess that's the beauty of the blind resume you end up seeding a team better than what you think of them.

THIS. I made my guess before trying to figure out the team, and once i realized who the team was I agree its a 6 or 7. Team B I would do 4 or 5 seed

I would think both teams would be in the 6 seed range.

My bad guys, I was just discouraged from the last time ya did this.

I would say that dc's prediction is pretty accurate. Team B has 2 wins against the top 25, despite the losses.

I'd say that 0-5 against teams in the top 17 isn't good, but no losses outside that is pretty solid.

Team A 5-6
Team B 4

I like to separate road games and neutral site games. winning on the road is extremely difficult. winning on a neutral court not so much

I think B has a better resume than A. Both beat up on bad teams and only lose to good ones, but at least B has shown they are capable of beating good teams. People ranking A over B is the classic example of rewarding teams for beating high-level cupcakes instead of low-level cupcakes. It doesn't matter because both are extremely capable of beating cupcakes.

I'd go:
A: 6
B: 4

I have a tough time ranking a team above a 6 when they can't beat great teams and really haven't beaten many good teams.
